The Campaign Organization of incumbent Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has threatened to ₦10 billion defamation suit against Senator Francis Fadahunsi.

A statement from the Governor’s Media team indicated that the legal action follows alleged defamatory comments by the senator. The Campaign Organization protested that the statements by the senator were false, malicious, and capable of bringing the governor’s name and administration into disrepute.

They demanded public retraction and apology, warning that failure to comply would lead to legal proceedings. The Organization maintained that the suit is to protect the integrity of the Governor’s Office and putting an end to “reckless political attacks.”
