The PBAT Door-to-Door Movement has unveiled 44 vehicles and other campaign materials in Borno as part of its grassroots mobilisation for the 2027 general elections.
The materials unveiled on Tuesday at Sir Kashim Ibrahim Square, College of Education, Maiduguri, included 88 speakers, 44 generators, 44 amplifiers and 44 microphones.
The movement is mobilising support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima under the All Progressives Congress (APC) platform.
Speaking at the event, the movement's Grand Patron, Chief Oweizide Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, urged the people of Borno to support the Tinubu-Shettima ticket in the 2027 elections.
Tompolo, who was represented by Kestin Pondi, Managing Director of Tantita Ltd., said Borno people should reciprocate the confidence reposed in Vice President Shettima, who hails from the state.
He also urged party supporters to take the mobilisation to the grassroots and engage citizens in support of the administration.
According to him, the Tinubu administration has laid a foundation for building a more prosperous Nigeria.
Tompolo commended Gov. Babagana Zulum for what he described as visible development across the state, urging voters to support the APC governorship candidate to sustain the achievements.
The campaign was officially unveiled by Zulum, represented by his deputy, Alhaji Umar Kadafur.
Kadafur said Borno remained prepared for grassroots mobilisation in support of Tinubu and Shettima.
Also speaking, APC Deputy National Chairman (North), Alhaji Ali Dalori, urged party members to take the campaign to the grassroots.
The APC governorship candidate, Alhaji Mustapha Gubio, said the Tinubu administration had demonstrated what he described as dividends of democracy and pledged full support for the Tinubu-Shettima ticket in Borno.
