The Police have assured the safe rescue of worshippers kidnapped in Kwara State at the weekend by bandits.
The Kwara State Police Command, acknowledging the murder of 3 worshippers and the 15 kidnapped victims, lamented the gruesome onslaught by the bandits, who invaded a prayer ground while worshippers were having vigil on Saturday night at Ori-Oke Ajaiye, on the outskirts of Ikiran Village, Ekiti Local Government Area, Kwara State.
The police, commencing search and rescue operations, promised to arrest the bandits, who invaded the prayer ground.
