Oyo Govt Set To Procure Two Surveillance Aircraft

Oyo state government is set to purchase two surveillance aircrafts to stem the tide of insecurity, banditry and kidnapping in its domain in Oyo State, while the plan has reach an advance stage. Governor of Oyo State Seyi Makinde made this development known during a state of the State address to commemorate the 2nd Anniversary of the 10th Assembly of the state’s legislature.
Makinde reel out numerous projects his administration has embark on it which is the independent power project which he said currently powers the state Secretariat and its environment. The Governor promised to bridge infrastructure deficit across the zones of the state and promised more dividends of democracy to the citizenry. In speech, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Honourable Adebo Ogundoyin declared that the 10th Assembly has firmly established itself as a dynamic and people-focused arm of government.
He noted that the house being proactive passed 32 bills which span through education, health, economy, security, environment, infrastructure, social welfare and governance.
