Obiano talks tough against crime in Anambra
The Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano has warned criminals and intending criminals to stay off Anambra, as the state will become too hot for them.
The Governor said this while playing host to the Inspector General of Police IGP Muhammadu Adamu at the commissioning of the second phase of his security initiative called Operation Kpochapu.
Obiano said with the acquisition of state of the art smart city surveillance system and other sophisticated gadgets, security in Anambra state have become water tight and almost impregnable.
In his reaction, the IGP who expressed surprise at the level of equipment on display hailed the state government for prioritizing the security of lives and properties of its residents.
He urged other state governors to emulate Anambra, so as to ensure a robust security across the length and breadth of the country.
