The wife of the Governor of Ondo state, Betty Akeredolu has advocated for improvement in teaching pattern in Nigerian schools.

 The Ondo state first lady made this statement during the end of solar for girls summer programme in Ilaramokin, Ondo state.

She declared unacceptable the situation where some schools in the remote area across the country are without qualified teachers while schools in the cities are over staffed.

She said there is need for creation of a platform where learning can be networked across the length and breadth of Nigeria for easy learning regardless of the area of abode.

About 150 girls were given rare opportunity to learn construction panel and the use of solar power as a way to engage schools girls during this summer holiday and as well mentor them on a path that can change their mindset for about life as female.

Displaying knowledge acquired during training, the overall best girl at the programme, Tolu Adebowale explained why it is safer to make use of solar power especially to control climate degradation.
