Hoodlums on Thursday invaded Isale-Oyo Commercial Secondary School in Oyo town and reportedly killed two students in the process.

According to an eyewitness, the hoodlums destroyed the school properties and beat up some teachers.

The school was reportedly attacked by some hoodlums perceived to be from the same Isale-Oyo community in collaboration with students from Isale-Oyo Community School.

The swift response from officers of the newly introduced Amotekun security rescued students and teachers in Isale-Oyo Secondary School in Oyo. Their intervention stalled further damages in the school.

The reason for the attack is yet to be unravelled but unconfirmed rumours have it that, two students had been reportedly killed by the hoodlums while others injured.

As at the time of this report, there has been no official statement on the incident from the authorities of the Oyo State Police Command.
