The Rector, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta, Dr Samson Odedina has said the polytechnic will continue to maintain its role as a leading institution in Nigeria in terms of quality training, the welfare of staff and union agitations; thereby urging sister polytechnics to learn from MAPOLY.

Odedina stated this known when he received in audience the new leadership of Senior Staff Association of Nigeria Polytechnics (SSANIP), led by its President, Barr. Banjo Ogunsipe in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Rector who attributed the new SSANIP President's victory to the restoration of MAPOLY to full academic activities by Governor Dapo Abiodun, said, the leading credibility of the Governor metamorphosed into success at the poll for the new SSANIP President who is a staff of the polytechnic. 

Meanwhile, the SSANIP President, Barr. Banjo Ogunsipe has assured Polytechnic students across Nigeria that, the age-long disparity between HND/B.Sc. holder would be a thing of the past.

He said the best way to move the country forward and attain the height of technological advancement nation is to encourage polytechnic education.
