The Delta state Task-Force against illegal bunkering and crude oil theft have warned perpetrators to desist from the act or face the full wrath of the law.

This was made known by the chairman of the state task-force and Warri council chairman Dr. Michael Tidi when he led his team to illegal bunkering sites at Ubeji community, in Warri south local government area of Delta state.

Speaking at the illegal refinery camp where drums and oil littered the environment, the task-force chairman said another visit will lead to military arrest. 

He advised those involved in the illegal business to turn a new leaf as it will no longer be business as usual.

Meanwhile, since the inauguration of the Task-Force in the state, illegal oil refinery operators have since relocated to the creeks to make it difficult for the Task-Force.
