To put a permanent end to multiple taxations in Ogun State, the State government says it had put measures in place to streamline the process of taxation.

The Governor, Dapo Abiodun who spoke in Abeokuta, the State capital disclosed that his administration had concluded plans to set up an Investment Promotion Agency in its bid to encourage investment in the State.

At the meeting,  that had chief executive officers,  industrialists among others,  operating in the state,  Governor Abiodun shared his administration's vision and sought their support for his administration.

He disclosed that his administration has introduced some reform initiatives that would help reduce bureaucratic bottleneck and improve ease of doing business in the state. The governor urged Investors in the State to consider indigenes of the State for permanent employment or internship when citing their businesses in the state.

The meeting which also afforded some of the investors air their views urged the governor to address some of their challenges; this includes,  multiple taxations,  human capital development,  free trade zone among others.
