United States Congressman, Rep Riley Moore, has hailed the arrest of Mahmoud Adam, a radical Islamic Fulani terrorist leader accused of masterminding the killings of countless Christians in Nigeria.
According to Moore, Adam's arrest is great news for Christians in Nigeria and proof that the US-Nigeria Security Cooperation agreement is bearing fruit.
"The Nigerian government deserves credit for making this arrest, and it’s clear that Congress and the Trump admin’s efforts to defend Christians are making a positive difference. We must keep pushing to defend our brothers and sisters in Christ," he said on X.
According to Daily Caller, Mahmoud Adam was arrested in the early morning hours of September 12 at his compound in Plateau State, where he serves as a prominent Fulani community leader. Photos provided by a whistleblower reveal that he has met with and received high-value gifts from Nigerian military leaders, while a senator previously intervened to secure his release from custody.
Adam is reportedly the secret head of the Fulani Ethnic Militia (FEM) in Plateau State and surrounding Middle Belt states and has strong links to the attacks suffered by residents of the region.
