The House of Representatives has resolved to investigate reports of the unsolicited and illegal linking of National Identification Numbers (NIN) by telecom service providers in Nigeria.
The decision came after the adoption of a motion of public importance moved by Hon. Patrick Umoh, who called on the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to investigate the allegations and take immediate action against any telecom provider found guilty.
