Mrs Oluyede gave the assurance during a humanitarian outreach to widows in Kaduna State, where she also commissioned a block of classrooms for children of military families.
The outreach, held at DICON and the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, was aimed at identifying with the families and listening to their most pressing concerns.
The DEPOWA President said the association will work to create systems that prioritize widows and their children in employment opportunities, especially graduates seeking jobs, including those aspiring to join the Armed Forces.
Mrs Oluyede also assured that DEPOWA will look into unresolved issues of insurance and other benefits due to families of fallen personnel.
In another engagement, the DEPOWA President commissioned a block of three classrooms at the AFSCOWA Nursery and Primary School in Jaji.
Earlier, the Coordinator of AFSCOWA, Mrs Ekene Shogbanmu, said the new classrooms will provide a more conducive learning environment in line with the association's vision of raising academically sound and morally upright children.
