The Coalition of United Political Parties, CUPP has frowned at the outrageous increase on Fuel pump price by the Federal Government. NNPC had increased PMS pump price from 897 naira to 1,030 naira on Wednesday.

While addressing Journalists on the state of the Nation in Abuja on Thursday, Spokesperson of the Coalition, Mark Adebayo lamented that in less than one and half years of the Tinubu administration, fuel prices have been increased by over 2000% which has exponentially increased poverty, hunger and general suffering of Nigerians.

He stressed that, Nigerians can see clearly and feel the effects of the horrible records of the present administration in the areas of the terminally sick economy, appalling insecurity, horrible human rights regime, political persecution under the guise of fighting corruption, unprecedented hunger.

The Spokesperson added that, Suicide rate has become an epidemic under the Tinubu administration.

National Secretary of the Coalition, Peter Ameh advised the federal Government to immediately constitute committee that will proffer solutions to ameliorate the sufferings of Nigerians.
