CAN tells FG to empower traditional rulers

The kidnapping crisis ravaging some part of the country has been described as ungodly that need god intervention in order to curb the menace.

The Kwara state secretary of the Christian Association of Nigerian, Reverend Idowu Ibitoye while answering a question from journalist suggested that traditional rulers need to be empowered in order to oversee their territory, adding that most of the kidnapping cases always happened within the territory of traditional rulers, therefore, if they were fully engaged and empowered to monitor their domain, all the menace will gradually come to an end.

He urged government at all level to heed to advised in order to move the country forward.
