Medical consultants at the Warri central hospital have confirmed having one case of a meningitis female patient in the hospital.
The hospital admits after several denials by the state government regarding the disease outbreak which has taken the lives of over three hundred and fifty patients in the North.
Speaking on the discovery, a consultant gynecologist and a physician spoke on the recorded case which they say is responding to treatment.
The gynecologist advised parents to always take precautions as the synergy with the state government is preventing further occurrence.
Meanwhile, despite the recorded case of meningitis patient in the state, the Delta state government is yet to make any official statement regarding the discovery.
