President of the Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, in honour of Professor Nnena Oti, Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO, Imo State, offered automatic employment to 30 students of the University.

Dangote, hosting Professor Oti, leading the students on three days educational tour of the Dangote Refinery and Fertilizer Plant in Lagos, revealed the decision to offer automatic employment to the 30 students in the entourage of the Vice Chancellor.

Dangote, according to Prof Oti, showed respect for the VC's integrity and contributions to national development. Prof. Oti received national and global recognition when she resisted monetary inducement and pressures to rig the 2023 governorship election in Abia State.

According to prof. Oti, “Alh. Aliko Dangote, President of Dangote Group of Companies, just called and offered the 30 FUTO students I took on tour of his refinery and fertilizer plant in Lagos automatic employment on graduation.

“He said this is to honor my integrity and national service to Nigeria and humanity.”
