Niger-Delta youths to occupy oil facilities
Niger Delta youths under the umbrella body of the Pan Niger Delta Youth Leadership Forum (PANDLEAF), have threatened to occupy oil installations in the region should the federal government fail to involve Niger Deltans in the concession of refineries.
The group made this known in Warri during a media briefing on the need to maintain the relative peace in the region.
Briefing newsmen, the president and coordinator of the group blame the federal government for not being sincere.
On his part, the organizing secretary of the group promised the occupation of oil facilities should the federal government fail to heed to their plight.
The group also condemned the part being played by the Minister of Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu on the concession of the refineries, while promising not to relent in the struggle.
