Finance Ministry Sees 2015 GDP Growth At 6.75 Percent

On Tuesday, The minister for Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said she expected economic growth for 2015 to be around 6.75 percent, an improvement on the government’s forecast of 6.2 percent this year.

Okonjo-Iweala also added that the country’s oil savings account, the excess crude account, was broadly flat since August at $4.11 billion and that the fledgling sovereign wealth fund had $1.55 billion in it, she told a media conference.
