Fayose raises alarm

Ekiti state governor Ayodele Fayose has described as ‘unfair’ a case instituted by the finance commissioner to former governor Fayemi.

Dapo Kolawole at the Federal High Court, Abeokuta seeking an order to stop the payment of N11billion due to the state as refund for construction and rehabilitation of federal roads.

Governor Fayose while addressing newsmen at the government house Ado Ekiti said the action by the ex-gov and his finance commissioner was another display of hatred against the state and its people.

The governor added that his administration would do everything within the ambit of law to stop the action.
                        
While seeking to get the reactions of former finance commissioner,  governor Fayemi he said he was in transit and promised to avail our correspondent details of the suit he filed.

Fayose added that it was more worrisome that the same APC government that plunged the state into huge debt, which led to the irregular payment of salary could institute such case against the state government.
