Neymar looks to be edging ever closer to a world-record £196million move to Paris Saint-Germain after an abrupt visit to Barcelona's training ground on Wednesday.

The Brazilian drove into the Joan Gamper facilities with two friends half an hour before training, but reports suggest he stayed just 43 minutes before leaving again.It is understood Barcelona have given Neymar permission to leave the club, and he now looks closer than ever to quitting the Catalan club for pastures new.

Spanish radio station RAC1 reports that Neymar's visit to the training ground was to say his goodbyes to team-mates as he prepares for a move to PSG. 

It is now expected that Neymar will head to Paris to continue negotiations, ahead of completing his money-spinning move to Ligue 1. 

 His former agent Wagner Ribeiro also waded into the news on Twitter on Wednesday, appearing to troll Barcelona with some kind words about Paris.
