Shooting Stars Sporting Club (3SC) of Ibadan chief coach Fatai Amoo believes the Oluyole Warriors will stand out and be counted among the clubs that will compete for Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) crown next season.

Amoo said he is aware of some of the problems that have slowed down the club's progress in the past, adding that 3SC will no longer be regarded as Oyo State's sick baby but a side capable of bringing back the good old days.

He said he is unhappy that the club make up the numbers and fight against relegation every season when they should be competing for honours locally and rubbing shoulders with top clubs in CAF competitions.3SC leaped to 14th position in the league table with 43 points from 33 matches after defeating Gombe United 2-1 on Sunday and will face Abia Warriors next Sunday in Umuahia.
