The governor of Delta state, Ifeanyi Okowa has said that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta state are not afraid of the coming 2019 elections.

The incumbent governor made the remarks at Agbor headquarters of Ika South local government area during a stakeholders' meeting with party chairmen on the need to work together in resolving the ward crisis.

Addressing the gathering of party faithful and ward chairmen of the PDP, the governor blamed the Delta north people for criticizing their good works.

He warned PDP aspirants against castigating one another during electioneering campaigns but to tell the electorate what they will do for the people.

The stakeholders meeting with the Delta North politicians is the second in one month as the government had also met with lawmakers from the region during the Delta North senatorial constituency meeting.
