Following the recent political development in Nigerian especially in Kwara state where the Senate president and Kwara state governor led others members of All Progressive Congress in the state to the  People Democratic Party, the chairman of PDP in the state has dumped the party.

The PDP's former chairman says that the party has been affected by virus.

Oyedepo spoke to journalists at the Ilorin International airport on his arrival from Abuja where he went to tender his resignation letter at the PDP national secretariat. 

He said that he decided to leave the PDP  because of those he described as pollutants whom he said he can never work with. 

Oyedepo disclosed that he has moved to the APC with majority of his followers describing remaining in the party, particularly, other party executives are inconsequential opportunists.

He added that he had never accused president Muhammadu Buhari but he has problem with the leadership of Kwara state
