Residents of Oyo state have advised desisting from playing politics of deceit that could truncate progress and development of the state.

Governor Seyi Makinde who made the appeal while inaugurating three new commissioners screened and confirmed by the state house of assembly urged the residents to always promote the best that the state had produced.

Correspondent Kunle Ojo reports that Maknide while speaking against the backdrop of the protest that trailed the appointment of 27 years Seun Fakorede as a commissioner in the state declared that he has fulfilled one of his electioneering campaigns promises to the youth in the state.

He charged the new commissioners to key into the programmers and policies of the present administration stressing that all hands must be on the deck towards repositioning the state for rapid development.

The high point of the event was the administration of the oath of allegiance and oath office on the new commissioners.
