Ekiti state governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose has called for a credible national convention of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Fayose said this while reacting to reports on the purported endorsement of some candidates by a group from the south west.

Governor Fayose said the zoning arrangement of the party does not automatically rule out any contender from other parts of the country.

He said the national caucus of the party should work hand-in0hand towards a credible and transparent national convention of the party.

The governor also used the opportunity to tell Nigerians that nothing could stop him from contesting the 2019 gubernatorial polls.
