The state chairman of the all progressives congress Jide Awe said the party will do everything within its power to put smiles on the faces of Ekiti people.

He said this on Wednesday at the presentation of the certificate of return to the governor-elect, Kayode Fayemi.

Awe appreciated the efforts of security agencies for the roles they played in the success of the Ekiti state governorship election.

Jide Awe said the APC will strive to ensure that dividends of democracy will be equally shared among residents of the state.

Also, a chieftain of the party, Sunday Adunmo said victory of the party in the gubernatorial election is a call to service.

He said expectations of the residents are higher as the state is in dire need of an administrator that would bail it out of its present predicament.
