Kano state traditional rulers and political stakeholders have joined other Nigerians who are asking Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State to run for the presidency in the 2023 general election.

The group made the call during a solidarity visit to the Governor at the Kogi state government Lodge in Abuja.

The leader of the group, Shuaib Idris called on governor Bello to run for the Presidency to effectively tackle the insecurity bedevilling Nigeria.

Idris appealed to Governor Bello to give a rapid response to the request of some Nigerians for him to be president since they have confidence in his capacity and talent to rescue Nigeria from its poor economic status and insecurity across the country.

Governor Bello who appreciated the traditional and political leaders for recognizing his efforts in tackling insecurity in Kogi State promised to give a response to all the requests for him to run as president in the forthcoming 2023 presidential Elections.
