Two injured as robbers attack university of Ibadan

No Fewer Than Two Female Students Were Injured When Some Armed Robbers Attacked The Obafemi Awolowo Hall At The University Of Ibadan In The Early Hours Of Today.


 

Items Such As Mobile Phones, Laptops And Other Valuables Belonging To The Students Were Carted Away By The Hoodlums.

According To Some Of The Students, The Armed Robbers, Seven In Number Arrived The Hostel Around 1am After They Have Overpowered The Security Men.

They Added That The Hoodlums Broke Most Of The Doors With Their Legs And Ransacked Over 15 Rooms In The Hostel.

Some Of The Victims Disclosed That The Robbers Took Their Laptops, Phones, Atm Cards Among Other While They Expressed Fear About Their Security In The Hostel.

Reacting To The Incident, The Deputy Vice Chancellor, Administration, Prof. Kayode Adebowale Confirmed That Two Students Were Injured During The Attack While Added That The Commissioner Of Police In The State, Shina Olukolu Has Visited The Scene. 

He Denied The Report That Some Of The Female Students Were Raped By The Robbers.
