The Bayelsa state Governor, Dr. Seriake Dickson has described the state budget as a very important aspect of his administration, as it will help to consolidate the ambitious programs of his government.

 He made the disclosure while signing the Educational Development Trust Fund into law at the government house in Yenagoa.

Speaking on the budget tagged ‘budget of re-positioning and consolidation’, Governor Dickson expressed satisfaction. 

Bayelsa State Governor On the state government’s intention, the governor promised to consolidate on laid down programmes as the speaker of the state house of assembly gave a breakdown of the budget.  

The high point of the occasion was the signing of the Educational Development Trust Fund, as well as other budgetary documents as presented by the Speaker
