Suspected Armed Robbers set Ablaze in Ibadan

Two persons suspected to have robbed a businessman have been reportedly killed and set ablaze along the Parliament Road, Agodi, Ibadan, the state capital.

According to an eye witness who spoke to our Correspondent Kunle Ojo on the ground of anonymity, the suspected robbers were trailed by some yet to be identified youths to Agodi Secretariat after they were said to have robbed a businessman a sum of 5 million Naira.

The witness explained that the youths eventually nabbed the alleged thieves who were on a motorcycle along the parliament road, attacked them with dangerous weapons, killed the duo and set them ablaze.

The witness, however, noted that men of the operation burst who were on their way to another operation had a stopover at the scene of the incident before they later zoomed off.

As at the time of this report, men of operation burst have cordoned off the axis.
