The Chairman of the Senate committee on Local Content and representative of Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan,has lauded the collaboration between the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) and Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) in enhancing local content capacity.

Recently, both the NDDC and NLNG inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at synergizing their objectives and working jointly to execute sustainable development projects in the region.

Senator Natasha while speaking during an interactive session between the Senate committee on Niger Delta and officials of NDDC, emphasized the need for the NDDC to prioritize the recruitment of its trained workforce for efficient service delivery.

Additionally, she declared her commitment to support the NDDC in establishing a comprehensive database of artisans across the nation, thereby fortifying the workforce and ultimately fostering microeconomic growth in Nigeria.
