Residents raise alarm over decomposed body

Residents of Yemetu and Total Garden areas of Ibadan have raised their voices over the dead body of a woman found in the area calling on officers of the state ministry of environment to come and pick up the body.


The residents who discovered the remains of the deceased this morning confirmed that the women before her death is mentally derailed and has been a regular face in the area.

Galaxy television gathered that some of the residents who spoke on the incident stated that for about two days now, the woman has been behaving abnormally before they discovered her dead body this morning.

They however appealed to officials of the ministry of Environment and other government agencies in the state to come and pick up the remains of the woman before it become too late.

"we want to appeal to the oyo state government to come to our aid, the body of the woman has been here since morning and we are yet to see officials of the state ministry of health to come and pick up the body. This is against the well being of people living here, especially there is a school around here and we want government to consider the lives of our children in particular," One of the residents told Galaxy television correspondent.

As at the time of compiling this report, the remains of the woman is still on ground while residents are waiting for appropriate action from the government.
