Police arrest 4, recover result sheets
The Police on Saturday afternoon arrested four suspects over the alleged missing results sheets and other election materials for last week's controversial ward congresses of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Imo State.

Police Force Public Relations Officer, ACP Jimoh Ibrahim, who paraded the suspects at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, said they would be charged with criminal conspiracy, stealing,  forgery and unlawful possession of electoral materials.
 
He said the suspects were nabbed about 2 pm in a hotel in Wuse 2, Abuja with 68 ward result sheets, six zonal result sheets, delegates list of 2016, and 130 delegate nomination forms. 
 
The four suspects, all male, are said to be one Innocent Ikpemezie, from Imo State,  Lawrence Archibong, from Cross River State; Kelechi Afonne, from Abia State; and Joseph Martins from Ebonyi state.
