Angry residents of Abata Suban in Ita kudimo area of Ilorin west local government area of Kwara state have pulled down a suspected ritualist alleged to have killed a pregnant woman in the area.

The man simply identified as Wasiu Iseoluwa escaped being lyched due to the timely intervention of the police who came to his rescue.

Some eye witnesses, who spoke to Galaxy television, explained that the suspect who is said to be a vigilante was reportedly butchering his victims when he was discovered by another resident who came to buy Indian hemp from him early in the morning and had to force the door open when the suspect refused to open.

The area has turned to market square of sort as people from other localities storm the area as the two bedroom house has been pulled down while the car belonging to the suspect was burnt.

Confirming the incident, the police public relations officer, Ajayi okasanmi  said the man had been arrested adding that investigation is ongoing to determine the actual offence before charging him to court.
