These were the words of the majority leader, Delta state house of assembly while briefing the house on the urgent need to transform the city once referred to as Nigeria's oil city.

Addressing the house, the majority leader Hon. Tim Owhefere, said there is an urgent need to return Warri to its lost glory.

Also speaking, a member representing Ughelli constituency Hon. Reuben Izeze, complained of the insecurity in his constituency.

Recall that the bill to develop Warri and Uvwie local government was passed during the sixth assembly, while the seventh assembly promised to speed up the developmental plan.
