As the 2019 elections draw near, Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has called on Nigerian youths to make proper use of their time online, shun fake news and other vices associated with the internet.

The governor admonished the youths to equip themselves with the necessary skills and knowledge to compete favourably in the ever-changing world.

Governor Ahmed  made the calls during  an official flag-Off of Kwara Youth Empowerment Programme (KWAYEP) Corps in Ilorin,

He further advised the youths not to allow themselves to be used for selfish ambition but take part actively to ensure entrenchment of good governance.

In his remarks, the Senior Special Assistant, Youth Empowerment to the Governor, Saka Babatunde, said the Kwara Youth Empowerment Programme (KWAYEP) Corps is designed as a platform to create employment and empowerment opportunities for the teeming youths in the state.
