Abuja residents are still in holiday mode this Monday the 28^th of December as the lengthy holidays continue.

Galaxy’s Godfrey Eshiemoghie reports that the Federal Secretariat one of the busiest parts of the city centre is a shadow of what it usually is on a typical Monday as only a handful of civil servants were present at the office for other businesses.

This cross-section of civil servants says the Christmas festivities exceeded expectations despite the economic crunch.

It was not all fun for those Abuja residents who had to grapple with poor power supply during the festive Christmas holiday.

It will be recalled that the Federal government had declared December 25 and 28 2020 as well as 1^st of January public holidays to mark the Christmas and New Year.
