The Nigerian Police Force commends Galaxy television for its commitment and dedication to duty in partnering with them in entrenching Community Policing in Nigeria.

The commendation and award were given on behalf of the Force by Assistant Inspector General of Police Ahmed Illiyasu to King Richard, Galaxy TV correspondent in Kano state.

The AIG urges more partnership from the station. Richard said the AIG has been the arrowhead of community policing since taking over Kano command six months ago hence the decision to commend those who are committed to the community policing strategy.
