Unspecified numbers of shops have been razed by fire at Akinyele Trailer Park in Akinyele Local Government area of Oyo state.

The incident which occurred around 4 am followed a similar incident that razed one of the buildings belonging to Yoruba Activist, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho at Soka area of Ibadan, the state capital.

The cause of the incident is yet to be determined as at the time of this report but our Correspondent learnt that officials of the state fire service arrived the scene of the time and curtailed the spread of the inferno.

Also, the inferno destroyed many shops with valuables that worth several millions of Naira.

Some of the affected victims were seen counting their losses in the incident calling on the state government for necessary help and assistance.
