In Edo State, Governor, Godwin Obaseki, his deputy and others took the first dose of COVID-19 Vaccine 

The permanent secretary ministry of health as well as the wives of the Governor and his deputy also took their turn in receiving the vaccine.

Speaking during the vaccination flag-off ceremony exercise at the Government House Benin City,  Governor Obaseki says the main objective of the vaccination is to interrupt the further spread of the dreaded disease in the state, as the permanent secretary spoke on the importance of the vaccination.

Others who received the vaccination during the flag-off ceremony were principal officers of the Obaseki's led administration including the Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie
