The Ogun state governor, Dapo Abiodun has charged the state civil service on effective service delivery, transparency and accountability in order to bring to fruition the developmental agenda of the state founding fathers for socioeconomic development of the state

He made the call during the swearing in ceremony of the 20th Head of Service of the state, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya at the state executive council chamber in Abeokuta, the state capital

The governor while assuring the state civil service of more conducive atmosphere in the discharge of the government business, he however charged the new Head of Service not to betray the confidence reposed in him by the state
Addressing the gathering, the new Head of service, Kehinde Onasanya promised critical reforms towards strengthening the civil service for greater efficiency and prompt service delivery

Governor Dapo Abiodun who praised the support and cooperation of the state civil service as the engine room of government policies and programme, however challenged the new Head of service on transparency, accountability and integrity

The governor also commended the professionalism which has been brought to bear by the state civil service on government policies and programme which has resulted in monumental successes of his administration
