National Confab Gets Six Weeks Extension

It has been disclosed that the National Conference has been extended by six weeks.

According to a new work plan issued to various committees, the conference will now end on July 31 instead of the earlier June 19 which it was programmed to last.

This extension is said to have come from the leadership of the conference.

According to the work plan July 21 to 24 had been devoted to consider draft reports of the conference.

Week 20, July 28 to 31 will be for production and signing of the final report.

No reason was given for the extension of the conference but some delegates, who spoke, hinted that: “We still have a lot of areas uncovered.” But others had earlier cautioned that the leadership of the conference should avoid the temptation of extending the conference.

However not all delegates welcome this extension,  fearing that the extension would likely clash with the 2015 general election.
