Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has listed the state General Hospital Ilaro as one out of the three Specialist Hospital tagged Hospital of Excellence " to be constructed in the three geopolitical Zones  of the State by His Government.

The governor stated this while on inspection tour of the hospital to access what needed to be done to make the health sector vibrant.

Correspondent John Felix reports that the governor expressed dismay on the state of facility at the hospital; just as he described most of the facilities in the hospital as outdated and obsolete with an uncondusive working environment.

He however promised to revamp the hospital as soon as possible.
