UTME Candidates Continue with NIN Registration, Despite Jamb's Suspension
Despite the suspension of the use of National identity numbers for the registration for the unified tertiary matriculation examination by the Joint admissions and matriculation Board, candidates still insist on going ahead with the process. Speaking with Galaxy news, some candidates and parents who came with their children for the NIN registration lament bitterly over the physical and emotional stress they have been subjected to during the process of registration. The extension of the compulsory use of NIN for the 2020 JAMBregistration to 2021 was announced on Saturday during a press conference in Abuja. The registrar of JAMB, Ishaq Oloyede said the move was to provide more time for candidates to get their national identification numbers.
