Governor of Osun state, Rauf Aregbesola on Tuesday, May 30, swore-in a 39 member executive council comprising of commissioners and special advisers.

The executive council is coming more than two years after the dissolution of the previous executive council ahead of the 2014 gubernatorial election in the state.

Aregbesola stated that the inauguration was long overdue, stressing that Osun was not isolated from the financial challenges that the country is currently facing.

On the list of the commissioners are an Associate Professor of Economics, Olalekan Dauda Yinusa; a Doctor of Law, Ajibola Basiru and a former Senator, Mudasiru Hussain.
