Oyo State Government has promised not neglect or close its eyes to issues Germaine to the development of education sector in the state.

Governor Seyi Makinde Stated this during the distribution of Textbooks and customized Exercise Books to students of Public Secondary schools held at Bishop Philips Academy Iwo road Ibadan.

Correspondent kunle Ojo reports that Maknide the initiative was borne out of his commitment to improving the education sector in the state adding that other policies are still in the pipeline.

The Governor charged the teachers and stakeholders to ensure effective distribution of the materials.

The commissioner for Education Prof Daud Sangodoyin solicited the support of the parents towards improving the standards of education in Oyo state while the chairman of Parents Teachers Association in the area commended  Makinde for given priority to the education sector.
