Kano state government is being urged by residents of the state to complete abandoned road projects across the state.

Galaxy correspondent, King Richard reports that several road projects commenced few days to the 2019 general elections has been abandoned to the detriment of the communities especially in Sabon Gari area of the state. Comrade Jonathan Lafiya said several accidents have occurred in King's garden area of club road due to abandoned road construction.

Another long-time resident of Kano residing in Brigade quarters, Jonathan Aprons said there is no gainsaying that developmental projects are ongoing in Kano state but the sad reality is that some areas were abandoned after the 2019 general elections. While commending the government for its past efforts on road construction he urges them to complete road construction ongoing in brigade Quarters.

Some have opined that most of the construction works that started few days to the 2019 general elections and now abandoned were purely done for political reasons.
