This was disclosed by the Garrison commander 6 division of the Nigerian Army Brigadier Gen. Adeola Kalejaiye during a campfire night to climax the Nigerian Army week in Port-Harcourt.

Addressing participants and invited guests, the Garrison commander said the Nigerian Army is highly committed to maintaining peace.

On his part, the special operations commander said the activities will bridge the gap between officers and men of the security agencies.

The 2019 Army day celebration makes the army 149 years old since its establishment.
