Anambra petroleum dealers tasked on safety
Stakeholders in the downstream sector have been tasked to ensure that safety is prioritized in their daily operations.
This was the message at the 1st Anambra Petroleum and Lubricant dealers Summit held in Awka, the Anambra State capital.
In his presentation, the southeast zonal controller of the Department of Petroleum Resources Engr. Peter Ejeh said government have the right policies, stating, however, that the major setbacks are encountered during its implementation.
Speaking to journalists, some stakeholders commended the organizers of the summit, stating that it is apt and timely.
They said it will go a long way in resolving some knotty issues between the various associations within the sector.
